What can I expect from attending the clinic?

What will happen on my first visit to the Care Oncology Clinic?
- Completion of a consent form for receiving the treatment
- A meeting with a leading Consultant
- An evaluation of your current condition
- Diagnostics (if required)
- A prescription for your cancer treatment
Following your appointment with the Consultant, a nurse will talk you through your individual cancer treatment and answer any questions you may have.
Your medicine will be delivered to you at home after your initial Clinic visit. Your treatment will be reviewed during regular appointments.

Are there any costs associated with the Care Oncology Clinic?
The cancer treatments used by the clinic are not manufactured by us directly; they are what are known as ‘generic’ therapies.The Clinic is currently self pay.
Compassionate arrangements can be made for those unable to self pay. Patient groups may also contribute towards the cost of patients attending the study, so please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss this option further.
*Costs are not currently reimbursed by the NHS. Private insurers may reimburse costs depending on your circumstances and insurance provider.
Payment for your treatment and consultations can be made by credit card during your visit.
